How to knit Cross stitch
Drop long stitch on left hand needle and let hang in front of work. Slip next 2 sts to right hand needle. Drop 2nd long stitch. Insert left hand needle into first dropped stitch, slip 2 sts on right hand needle back to left hand needle and insert left hand needle into 2nd dropped stitch, knit 4.
Pattern
Cast on a multiple of 5 sts, plus 1.
With color A, cast on a multiPle of 5 sts + 1 and then worked one row of Purl.
Row 1 (RS): Color A, Knit.
Row 2 (WS): Color A, P1, *P1 wrap yarn twice around needle, P2, P1 wrap yarn twice around needle, P1; rep from * to end.
Row 3: Color B, K1, *SL1, K2, SL1, M5; rep from * to last 5 sts, SL1, K2, SL1, K1. (Slip sts wyib and drop extra wrap)
Row 4: Color B, P1, *SL1, P2, SL1, K5; rep from * to last 5 sts, SL1, P2, SL1, P1. (Slip sts wyif)
Row 5: Color B, K1, *SL1, K2, SL 1, P5; rep from * to last 5 sts, SL1, K2, SL1, K1. (Slip sts wyib)
