Take the right-hand needle under the slipped threads, then pick up the next st on the left-hand needle and knit this st and the slipped threads together.

Cast on a multiple of 10, plus 7.
Row 1 (WS): P6, *SL5 wyib, p5; rep from * to last st, P1.
Row 2 (RS): Knit.
Rep Rows 1 - 2 twice more.
Row 5: P6, *SL5 wyib, p5; rep from * to last st, P1.
Row 6: K8, *K1 uls, K9; rep from *, ending last rep with K8.
Row 7: P1, SL5 wyib, *P5, SL5 wyib; rep from * to last st, P1.
Row 8: Knit.
Rep Rows 7 - 8 once more.
Row 11: P1, SL5 wyib, *P5, SL5 wyib; rep from * to last st, P1.
Row 12: K3, *K1 uls, K9; rep from *, ending last rep with K3.
